How to prepare for your In home newborn session:

ITS BEST TO PLAN YOUR OUTFITS IN ADVANCE SO YOU ARENT STRESSING AT THE LAST MINUTE!

Please, don't wear matching outfits! Its an unspoken rule!

Here are my style tips:

1. STICK TO EARTHY & NATURAL COLORS. THESE COLORS GO BEST WITH ALMOST EVERYTHING..

eg. Beige, brown, cream, orange tones. or Beige, brown, cream, sage green tones or 1 Pattern, Beige, brown, cream. These are just examples. Looking through my work will give you an idea of the colours I like to use.

THINK ABOUT COLORS THAT COMPLIMENT EACH OTHER. KEEP IT SIMPLE.

2. BE COMFORTABLE - MAKE SURE YOU’VE TRIED ON YOUR CLOTHES BEFORE HAND AND MOVED AROUND IN THEM COMFORTABLY. YOU DON’T WANT TO BE CONSTANTLY ADJUSTING ANYTHING! YOU WANT TO BE ABLE TO MOVE AROUND FREELY AND FEEL GOOD.

3. THIS IS AN UNSPOKEN RULE, NO LOGOS OR WORDS - STAY TIMELESS BY AVOIDING WORDS AND LOGOS THAT WILL DATE THE IMAGES AND JUST LOOK TACKY.

Planning out the session:

When Bub is born, contact me to book in your session. It is best to do these when Bub is around 2 weeks old. Definitely before 3 weeks.

I usually come in the morning, and it is best to try to get me to come just before Bub is ready for a feed and usual nap time.

Here is an example of a newborn session:

10:00am: Tatiana Arrive at your family home

10:10am: Relaxed photos of all the family with bub - this can be on the lounge, or in a main bedroom (anywhere that has good light coming in).

10:45am: Photos of each parent with Bub

11:15am: Mum Feeding (or dad) breastfeeding or bottle feeding (this can take as long as you need, I am never I a rush to finish a newborn session because they can be unpredictable)

Fingers crossed after the feed Bub goes to sleep :)

11:45am: Solo photographs of Bub asleep in a gorgeous little set up that I will make (usually in a main bedroom or lounge room).

This is just an example, things might pan out differently :)
